Scholarship Recommendation Letter

Dear Headmaster, It is my pleasure to recommend Nabila Shikoofa Muida for the JASSO Scholarship to The University of Tokyo. I am her close friend at SMAN 3 Bandung and I know her quite well. I have known her for more than 1 year. I am in the same class as Nabila since first year of high school and she has been studying very well. She always gets first place in every end-semester exam with wonderful scores in every subject. She is good especially at math and biology. Nabila is extremely ambitious about exam scores. She cares a lot about how much score does she get. She is a diligent person. She studies a lot and prepares for every exam very well. She is smart and kind at the same time. Although she is clever, she helps people around her to study. She kindly explain the steps to solve the problem. She gets along with her classmates excellently. She does her work well in every group assignment. She often suggests creative ideas for the group. She is a member of Trilogi, an extracurricula

My Dream and I

Everyone is unique, so am I. Hania Pracika Rosmansyah, a student of 3 Senior High School Bandung. My hobbies are drawing, reading comics, and cooking. I read comics every day, I often cook pasta, noodles, and other dishes. Sometimes I help my mother to prepare dinner. I draw something on my mind when I have free time. I'm an INFJ. I have a very good sense of myself and I like to spend time by myself. I like to observe things (sky, plants, human beings). I feel more comfortable if work by myself and I like to learn something by my own experience with trials and errors. I respect people around me, good manner is number one. Even though I'm an introvert, I'm quite experienced in working with people. I participated in an organization and extracurricular activities, I was a producer in a play when I was a junior high school student, and many more. I'm good at drawing, not excellent, but I enjoy when I draw and I want to be an expert in drawing. I can speak English and Korean

Dialogue: Asking and Giving Opinion

Farah: Hey everybody, I read the newest chapter of this novel in the morning! Have you read it yet? Elly: Oh really? I'll read it now! Wait for me! Daisy: I've read it. If you ask me, I think this chapter's plot is quite cliche. I can guess that the first lead will solve the misunderstanding soon.  Farah: Hmm, I feel that the first lead will go through a bigger problem. A suspicious girl made an appearance. Her mysterious smile creeps me, she's plotting something. Brr! Daisy: Whoa! I didn't think of that. What are your thoughts about her? Farah: She's quite rude towards the first lead. I believe she will be the villain and ruin the first lead's life!  Elly: Guys, I just read it. I'm not sure she will be the villain. There are a lot of opportunities. She might be rude now, but maybe she will sacrifice her life for the first lead. Farah: Amazing. It's unpredictable. I'll be waiting for the next chapter. Elly: By the way, my sister suggested that I

Sarah: "Hey hey hi guys! I have some information! I just saw it on the school bulletin. The school will hold a competition to celebrate the independence day. Shall we participate in this event?" Celia: "Let's do that. I heard that a lot of competitions will be held in that event, such as marble in spoon race, krupuk-eating race, gunny sack race, tug of war, and many more. It's going to be a lot of fun!" Ben: "Hmm.. What about tug of war? Pulling the rope with friends, that sounds challenging." Celia: "I'm not sure about that, we might compete against class B, the strongest class." Sarah: "Yeah, we'd better not. I don't want to take the risk." Ben: "Okay then, I will participate with the other classmates, hehe." Sarah: "Don't forget to stretch your body. Oh! How about gunny sack race?" Celia:"That sounds great! We could ask Kevin to join us." Ben: "I'll join too.&q

BATTLE OF SURABAYA

25th of October 1945 The British landed at Tanjung Perak Surabya led by Brigadier General Mallaby who was also the Commander of the 49th Brigade with the main task of evacuating Japanese troops and internees. This brigade numbered approximately six thousand troops and also brought the elite Gurkhas. Mallaby himself and his deputy, Colonel Pugh, were first welcomed by Mustopo, the head of the TKR-Surabaya, and Atmadji, a former Gerindo activist, who represented the Navy TKR. After holding talks with Mustopo, Mallaby asserted that the allies would not smuggle in their midst the Dutch and NICA (Netherland Indies Civil Administration) forces. 26th of October 1945 Without comprehensive intelligence on the condition of Surabaya and its turbulent society, Mallaby sent a platoon of troops led by Captain Shaw to rescue Captain Huijer. Fairytale: Story Telling

The Red Shoes By Hans Christian Andersen In a small village, lived a beautiful girl named Karen. She lived with her mother in a small hut. Karen was a poor girl. She had no shoes to wear. She always wore wooden shoes that her mother had made for her. The shoes were hard and Karen's feet hurt! Soon, Karen’s mother got very ill. Karen spent all her time taking care of her mother. Once, while coming back home, Karen found a pair of red shoes in a box. The box was on the sidewalk. Karen loved the red shoes and decided to take them home. But her mother was not happy to see the red shoes. “Karen, you must never pick up anything off the road! They may belong to someone. This is stealing!” said Karen’s mother. “Then they should be more careful, Mama. Finders are keepers.” Replied Karen. “Oh Karen, don’t be so stubborn. I know we are poor and I cannot buy you shiny shoes. But our poverty must not make us do wrong things! Promise me that you will never wear these red shoe

Last December, I went to Lembang for organization event. The event called " Musyawarah Besar 1 ". It is an event to evaluate our performance for PK, to make a plan for the future, and to strengthen our relationship with each other. I was the chief executive of this event. I went there with my family from PK 66. The members of PK 66 are from 3'22 and 3'21. We were not full members at that time, but 26 people joined this event. On the first day, we departed from SMAN 3 Bandung to Villa John at 08.00 AM. Villa John is placed in Villa Istana Bunga housing estates. We went there by car and we arrived at Villa John around 10.30 AM. My Mother talked with the owner of the villa and 3'22 members were preparing for the first event for Mubes 1 . We unloaded our bags and things. The first thing we were going to do was doing conference, but the seniors said, "A conference cannot be held if the audiences are less than 24 people." and in the first day, there we
