Even though I am a very picky person about novel plots, most of the novels that I read are satisfying to read. Queen of the scalpel is a novel written by Yuin that tells about a woman named Jihyun, a genius surgeon from the present time, who went into an airplane accident, then she was brought back to historical timeline, and she reincarnated into a noble lady’s body named Elise de Clarence. Elise was known as a rude and cruel lady. Jihyun decided to change her way of life and became a kind person who performs surgery and saves many people’s lives. In her previous life, as a cruel Elise, she was obsessed with the prince named Linden and made a goal to marry him. Previous Elise went through a miserable life and received a death sentence given by the prince. Now, she decided not to be an empress and live as a surgeon.
